A cable seal rubber sleeve grommet combines the panel interface with an extended passage around the lead. The sleeve should protect the required length without disturbing the region that establishes contact at the opening. Treat those two regions as connected design features with different jobs.
Start with the finished cable and panel geometry. Decide where the sleeve ends relative to the next cable support and where the retained section sits within the opening. ETOL offers custom materials, dimensions, colors and molded structures for this arrangement.
During a trial assembly, inspect the point where the sleeve meets its mounting section. A cable leaving at an angle can crease that junction even while the outer flange looks level. Adjust the route or profile so the flexible passage rests naturally.
Evaluate any required sealing duty with the lead secured in its final position. Keep an external clamp from crushing the sleeve body, and avoid placing a cable label in the contact region. If servicing shifts the lead, restore its intended route before judging the seat. A local contact gap should be addressed through the actual alignment or fit rather than by pulling the cable harder against the rubber.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. Decide where the sleeve ends relative to the next cable support and where the retained section sits within the opening. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
