Product Overview

Custom rubber bumper guards for car applications are molded around a defined location on the vehicle. The geometry should follow the mounting area and the contact the guard is intended to receive, with enough clearance for neighboring trim and moving parts. A guard that looks suitable from the outside can still interfere with an adjoining feature if its retained section is poorly matched.

Choose the material and attachment for the environment at that position, including cleaning products and outdoor exposure where applicable. Custom dimensions, hardness and color can be developed for the vehicle design. The rubber component does not by itself establish crash protection or a vehicle impact rating.

Evaluate the fitted guard as part of the intended assembly. Check that its contact face reaches the correct area and that attachment does not damage the underlying finish. During maintenance, inspect for displacement, torn edges and contamination behind the part. If repeated contact damages the guard at one corner, review alignment and the contact path before replacing it with the same configuration.

Material options
Custom rubber compound and color, selected for the contact conditions and required geometry.
Hardness range
30–90 Shore A for rubber. Compare firmness under load at the intended contact face. A guard that looks suitable from the outside can still interfere with an adjoining feature if its retained section is poorly matched.
Custom profile & fit
The geometry should follow the mounting area and the contact the guard is intended to receive, with enough clearance for neighboring trim and moving parts.
Assembly considerations
Choose the material and attachment for the environment at that position, including cleaning products and outdoor exposure where applicable.
Design check
Check that its contact face reaches the correct area and that attachment does not damage the underlying finish.

Review the intended assembly

Working conditions

Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.

Material and structure

Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.

Installation

Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
