A rectangular EPDM gasket follows a shaped joint where the sealing path includes straight sides and corners. NBR and FKM are alternative material directions for suitable applications, with the final compound selected for the actual medium and operating conditions. The rectangular outline should match the supported sealing path of the mating parts.
Corner shape and seal width need attention alongside overall length and width. If the gasket is stretched to reach a mismatched corner, the section can become uneven along the adjacent sides. Establish the joint's finished dimensions, available compression space, and method of locating the gasket before closing the assembly.
Place the seal on clean mating surfaces and keep it from shifting as fasteners or other retaining features are engaged. Inspect the corners and the long sides where access permits. The joint should compress the gasket according to its design rather than relying on additional tightening to correct a profile mismatch. During maintenance, retain the correct material identity and dimensions when replacing the part, especially if similar rectangular seals are used with different fluids elsewhere in the equipment.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
