Product Overview

Custom rubber bellows flexible covers can be developed around a mechanism whose attachment points move relative to one another. Material, dimensions, structure and color can be selected, with hardness choices from 25 to 85 Shore A. The free shape should follow the required movement rather than simply fill the visible space at rest.

Map the distance and alignment between the ends through the operating path. Check the compressed position for trapped folds and the extended position for excessive stretching. Intermediate movement may bring the cover against a nearby component even when both endpoints appear clear.

Review the end attachments separately from the folded body. The ends need to remain seated while the body moves, and installation should not introduce a twist along the cover. Check the motion with all surrounding hardware fitted so the assessment reflects the completed assembly.

Choose the finished compound for the exposure and cleaning conditions. Inspect fold valleys and mounting ends during maintenance, removing debris with a compatible method. A recurring rubbed area or persistent crease should prompt a clearance review before replacement. Restoring the movement space helps prevent a new cover from being damaged by the same local interference.

Material options
Rubber compound options, customized alongside the profile and contact conditions.
Hardness selection
Solid rubber options: 30–90 Shore A. Check the compressed position for trapped folds and the extended position for excessive stretching.
Custom geometry
The free shape should follow the required movement rather than simply fill the visible space at rest.
Fit evaluation
Check the motion with all surrounding hardware fitted so the assessment reflects the completed assembly.
Color & OEM
Custom colors; identification clear of folds and end connections.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
