Rubber gaskets and seals can be custom molded as round components for a defined joint. The ring dimensions should match the receiving seat, while the compound is selected for the actual medium and operating conditions. EPDM and NBR are distinct material options with different suitability considerations.
Define the substance, temperature, contact duration, and cleaning exposure before choosing the compound. The ring's cross section also needs to suit the available compression space. A correct outside diameter alone does not establish that the part will fit the groove or sealing faces as intended.
Clean the joint and inspect the mating surfaces before installation. Place the ring without twist or unnecessary stretch, keeping it aligned as the parts close. Avoid using excessive tightening to compensate for an unsuitable thickness. The complete assembly determines its required sealing performance under pressure, movement, or environmental exposure. During replacement, check for damage in the receiving feature and use the matching profile and selected material rather than substituting a visually similar round seal from another application.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
