A custom silicone rubber keypad combines molded push buttons with a conductive contact arrangement. Button shape, color, and legends can be adapted to the product while the underside aligns with the circuit. The housing and backing support determine the conditions in which each button operates.
Secure the keypad as it will be used before assessing movement. Uneven compression at the sheet perimeter can affect one group of keys more than another. A button should not drag against the bezel or move the surrounding sheet when pressed near an accessible edge. Check that its release is complete before a neighboring control is operated.
Marking options include printed, raised, recessed, and colorfilled identification. Keep their positions coordinated with the physical and electrical layout. Select the silicone formulation for the actual exposure and cleaning process. During assembly, protect the contact surfaces from residue and avoid stretching the sheet to correct misalignment. Any changed key behavior should be evaluated in the complete support and circuit arrangement rather than addressed only by changing the visible button shape.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
