A round rubber washer fits around a central feature while providing a flexible contact area between surrounding faces. This custom version can be sized for the opening and the available land on either side. Centering is particularly useful where the washer is hidden as the joint closes.
An oversized bore may allow the part to move sideways before compression, while a tight bore can drag against the central feature and twist the washer. The outer edge should also stay within its intended seat. A locating recess can help position the part, provided its depth and profile are compatible with the selected thickness.
Bring the mating components together without scraping the washer across a rough surface. If one component turns during tightening, consider how that rotation reaches the rubber contact face. The compound should suit any sliding contact and the surrounding medium. After disassembly, look for an off-center impression or localized edge wear; these marks can reveal alignment problems that were concealed while the joint was closed.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
