Match the attachment and installation method
Custom silicone rubber suction cups need the lip and mounting features to be defined as one working component. The contact surface determines the necessary rim profile, while the holder or vacuum connection sets the geometry behind it. Altering one without considering the other can change how the cup sits under load.
Define the intended orientation and movement along with the available contact area. The selected silicone formulation should suit the workpiece surface and operating exposure. A custom outline does not establish a carrying capacity by itself, and a larger contact diameter is not a substitute for evaluating the complete arrangement.
Check that the rim remains continuous against the actual surface without bridging a seam or texture. Verify that the mounting connection does not twist the cup or distort its lip. During service, inspect contact edges and attachment transitions for damage. Replacement parts should preserve the chosen configuration so a visually similar cup does not introduce a different contact profile or connection depth into the same system.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. The contact surface determines the necessary rim profile, while the holder or vacuum connection sets the geometry behind it. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
