An NBR rubber washer needs to suit the actual medium at the joint as well as its mechanical fit. The material family is relevant to selection, but it does not establish compatibility with every liquid, cleaning agent, or temperature condition. Define those exposures for the finished connection before settling the formulation.
Choose the ring dimensions around the seating faces and fastening arrangement. The center opening should preserve the intended passage, and the outer edge needs sufficient support as the washer compresses. A narrow hard contact or unsupported gap can damage the ring even when its material is otherwise appropriate.
Evaluate waterproof performance in the completed joint under its specified conditions. Inspect the washer after removal for swelling, cuts, extrusion, or an uneven compression pattern. Different damage can point to different causes, so consider material exposure and assembly geometry separately. Replacing the ring with another identified only as NBR may reproduce a formulation mismatch, while changing material will not correct a sharp or poorly supported seating face.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
