A square rubber gasket follows a joint with distinct corners as well as straight sides. The corner radius and support there need to suit the mating components; matching the overall width alone can leave the ring compressed unevenly or lifted at a turn.
Review the complete seating path and the fastening positions. A cover may close more firmly near screws while leaving a different gap along the middle of a side. The gasket profile should suit those assembly conditions without relying on excessive tightening to force the corners into place.
Lay the gasket without twisting or stretching it around the square path, and check that it remains positioned as the cover closes. Evaluate waterproof performance on the assembled joint under its specified exposure. During inspection, compare the corners with the straight sections for pinching, displacement, or lasting deformation. Repeated damage in one corner may reflect a local fit or alignment problem rather than a need to change every dimension of the gasket.

Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
