A square silicone gasket can be custom molded for a matching enclosure or other shaped joint. Its outer dimensions, central opening, corner radii, and thickness need to describe the complete sealing path. These features determine whether the gasket is supported around the full perimeter when the mating parts close.
Measure the corners as deliberately as the straight sides. An apparently correct overall size can still produce local lifting if the radius differs from the seat. The width between the inner and outer boundaries should also follow the available contact area, particularly near fasteners or nearby openings.
Choose the silicone formulation for the actual use, including any food-contact requirement, rather than assuming suitability from the general material name. Position the gasket without stretching the corners and inspect all sides before closing the joint. Apply the assembly's intended closing sequence to establish controlled compression. During maintenance, check the corner transitions for tearing and remove deposits from the seat. Replace a distorted gasket with the specified geometry instead of trimming or reshaping it to match a different enclosure.

Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
