Product Overview

A square rubber silicone washer follows a defined outer footprint around its central opening. The square perimeter can suit a matching contact area, provided the corners remain supported and clear of adjacent features. Its section and bore must also match the way the joint is assembled.

For a heat-exposed use, choose the silicone formulation according to the conditions at the washer itself. Include the contact medium and the duration of heating when evaluating the configuration. A square shape does not imply a different thermal limit from another profile made in the same formulation.

Place the washer in the intended orientation before securing the joint. Check that a corner has not caught beneath a nearby feature or turned out of the contact area. Use the assembly's specified fastening method and assess the joint under its required operating cycle. During replacement, inspect the corner regions of the mating face for damage so a localized obstruction does not distort the new washer in the same way.

Material options
Silicone. Custom formulation and color for the intended contact conditions.
Hardness selection
Silicone: 20–80 Shore A. Choose silicone compliance around the square perimeter and corners, keeping the contact supported when the opposing faces compress the washer.
Custom dimensions
A square shape does not imply a different thermal limit from another profile made in the same formulation.
Fit & assembly
Use the assembly's specified fastening method and assess the joint under its required operating cycle.
Use & inspection
During replacement, inspect the corner regions of the mating face for damage so a localized obstruction does not distort the new washer in the same way.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
