Flat ring gaskets for food-related assemblies need the correct material formulation and a shape that matches the intended joint. This custom silicone rubber seal can be sized around the mating opening, supported width, and closing gap. The complete interface should allow its intended cleaning process to reach relevant surfaces.
Check where residue may collect at the inner and outer boundaries. A gasket that extends into an unsupported recess can create an unintended edge in the assembly. Its section should remain within the seat and receive the compression established by the mating parts.
Select the formulation for the actual contents, temperature, and cleaning conditions. Install the ring cleanly and confirm that it lies flat before closing the joint. During care, inspect the seat as well as the gasket, particularly where parts are separated only occasionally. Replace a ring with tears or persistent deformation using the correct compatible profile. The gasket's food-contact role belongs to the finished application and should remain consistent when another component or cleaning method changes.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. A flat ring should stay within its seat without leaving an unsupported edge beside the opening. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
