Silicone key buttons positioned near a phone keypad edge can experience a different pressing angle from central keys. The housing wall may also leave less clearance on one side. Select the key profile and travel so the button can reach its switching position without rubbing heavily against that boundary during normal handling.
Match the lower contact and locating features to the internal assembly. The silicone web should rest in its intended position without being stretched toward the edge of the enclosure. Choose clear markings that remain readable in the finished phone and do not rely on a partially hidden key surface.
Test the assembled device with center and edge presses, then check that adjacent keys remain released. During service, compare any wear mark with the housing opening to identify repeated contact. If a key sticks only when the enclosure is fastened, inspect the closing geometry before replacing the rubber. Preserve the designed profile instead of trimming an edge in a way that changes retention or exposes the switching region.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
