Selected for the contact, temperature and movement
Define the visible surfaces and intended color
Develop holes, lips and walls around the mating parts
Match the attachment and installation method
An NBR rubber bumper can be custom molded for a defined contact or support position. The formulation should suit the actual substances and temperature at the installation, while the body geometry follows the load and movement. Silicone is another material option to consider where the application calls for it.
Identify the working face and the component that contacts it. The attachment should hold that face in the intended position without an unsupported edge carrying the load. Nearby hardware needs to leave room for the rubber to deform as designed.
Install through the equipment's specified arrangement and evaluate the complete setup under normal conditions. The material name alone does not establish a particular vibration response. During maintenance, inspect the contact pattern and attachment for damage or persistent displacement. Keep compound variants identified if their shapes are similar. Replace with the required material and geometry rather than choosing a visually matching bumper intended for a different environment or loading pattern.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. An NBR rubber bumper can be custom molded for a defined contact or support position. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a connection type, then compare body dimensions and metric threads. D, H and L are in millimeters; H excludes projecting studs. The M designation identifies the metric thread.
157 sizes with a male stud at each end. Compare body diameter D, body height H, thread size and projecting stud length L.
