A square EPDM rubber seal follows a defined joint outline with a custom rubber profile. FKM is another material option for applications that require a different compound selection. The square geometry and material choice should be established independently, then assessed together in the actual joint.
The seal needs support along its full path. Corner transitions, contact width, and available section height determine how it sits between the mating parts. A square outside dimension alone does not show whether the inside opening or sealing band matches the joint. Avoid stretching a ring into position if its corners or sides do not follow the intended seat.
Select the formulation for the process medium, temperature, and cleaning exposure. Before assembly, remove residue from the mating faces and place the seal without twists or folds. Keep it located as the joint closes, particularly along sections that are hidden from view. During servicing, retain the correct compound identity and section dimensions. A visually similar square gasket made for another medium should not be substituted simply because it fits the same outer space.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
