A flexible oval rubber sleeve provides a protective connection where the mating outline is wider in one direction than the other. The oval form can follow that interface without forcing the attached components into a round arrangement. This range is intended to help keep dirt, dust and moisture away from the enclosed connection area.
For an oblong fitting, orientation affects installation. Align the long axes at both ends before seating the sleeve, and compare the available width along the straight regions as well as at the curved ends. Twisting the part to correct a mismatch can introduce uneven wall loading and reduce local clearance.
Material choices listed for this range include silicone, EPDM, FKM, nitrile, HNBR, neoprene and SBR. The actual compound should suit the substances and conditions around the connection. Shape customization also allows the interface to be developed for a particular assembly.
Check the sleeve in its normal installed position and through any expected movement. The wide faces should not collapse against a nearby obstruction. When servicing the connection, release the attachment areas before withdrawing the sleeve so that removal force is not concentrated at the curved ends.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
