An EPDM rubber seal o ring provides a circular sealing element for a defined joint or groove. The internal diameter and cross section need to match the available space and intended compression. The material should be selected for the actual temperature and medium encountered by the assembled seal.
Consider the conditions at the ring itself, including heating and cooling cycles and substances used during maintenance. A nearby equipment temperature setting may not describe the complete exposure. The groove should support the ring without requiring it to be stretched into an unsuitable diameter or pinched when the parts close. Clean the mating surfaces before installation and place the ring without twists. Evaluate the completed joint through its intended operating conditions rather than assigning capability from the rubber name alone. After disassembly, inspect the section for damage and changes in shape. Replacement should preserve the exact size and formulation so the joint returns to its designed contact relationship.

Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
