Rubber switch buttons should return to their intended position after a press, with enough clearance from the housing and support below. A button that works freely in an open assembly may be constrained when the final cover is fastened. Check the silicone profile and conductive contact as part of the completed switch stack rather than judging the loose button alone.
Define the available travel, locating arrangement, and clearance around the button wall. Markings and colors should suit the control function without obscuring the visible movement area. Keep the switching region free of debris during assembly.
Test actuation and release after the housing reaches its final fastening condition. Include presses near the edge and verify the electronics no longer register input after release. If return becomes slow, inspect for a trapped flange, shifted support, or contamination at the opening. Avoid trimming the rubber wall as an improvised fix, since that changes the movement and retention geometry instead of correcting the assembly condition causing the interference.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
