Custom rubber mount feet for chair leg applications can be developed with material options such as EPDM, SBR or an appropriate FKM formulation. Choose the finished compound for the floor surface, cleaning products and handling conditions. Material names should remain associated with the actual part specification rather than treated as interchangeable labels.
The leg attachment and working base need to fit independently of that selection. Check the height and contact angle with the complete chair resting as intended. A replacement material should be evaluated in the assembled geometry, particularly if its deformation changes how several feet share support.
Keep grit away from the underside and inspect for wear or movement at the leg end. During replacement, compare the internal profile and base shape as well as color. If one foot repeatedly wears at an edge, review the chair's contact angle and support arrangement before changing compound. A material upgrade should address a defined requirement rather than compensate for a foot that does not fit its mounting or floor position.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. If one foot repeatedly wears at an edge, review the chair's contact angle and support arrangement before changing compound. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose hemispherical, tapered or recessed rubber feet and compare the mounting dimensions. All values are in millimeters. Use the drawing labels for each product; a dash marks a dimension not supplied in the source.
12 sizes for recessed rubber feet, including flat and rounded bases. The Base column identifies the lower-edge style. C is recess depth; the appearance rendering shows a rounded-base example.
