A rubber thin gasket can be custom produced in a compound selected for the intended joint. Viton, EPDM, and SBR represent different material choices rather than interchangeable descriptions. The actual substances, temperature cycle, and contact requirements should guide that selection.
The thin section then needs to fit the supported seat and closing gap. Identify the inner openings and any narrow regions that could move during installation. A gasket should lie naturally in its position instead of being stretched across locating features.
Keep the contact faces clean and guide the mating component into alignment without dragging the rubber sideways. Use the assembly's intended closing method to establish compression. During servicing, inspect the removed gasket for tears or changes in section and examine the corresponding seat where damage occurs. Replace with the specified compound and complete geometry rather than selecting another thin ring by color or approximate size alone. Keep unused shaped gaskets flat to protect their narrow sections.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
