Rubber seals for glass jars work between each closure and its receiving rim. Each gasket profile must match the jar's sealing arrangement so the lid applies contact where intended. An approximate ring can make the closure feel tight while leaving uneven contact around the opening.
Select the gasket material for the intended contents and cleaning conditions. High-temperature suitability must be established for the complete jar, lid and gasket arrangement, rather than inferred from one rubber component. The gasket does not independently make an ordinary glass jar suitable for a particular heating or preservation process.
Inspect the rim and lid seat for residue before closing the container. Keep the gasket in its intended channel without a twist or folded section. Follow the finished container's care requirements when removing and cleaning the seal. If the ring becomes stretched, torn or difficult to seat, use a compatible replacement instead of forcing the lid closed against a gasket that no longer follows the original profile.

Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
