Product Overview

A rubber mounting bush can be customized for an installation where elevated temperature affects the mounting area. The chosen compound, hardness and dimensions should address the actual thermal and mechanical conditions together. Different rubber formulations offer different suitability, so the material selection belongs to the specific mounting design.

Identify how heat reaches the bush. It may come through a metal mounting member, from the surrounding air or from a nearby component. These paths can expose the bore and outside surface differently. Include the operating duration and any repeated heating and cooling when establishing the required conditions.

The mounting fit remains important at those conditions. Check the support and retention surfaces, the room available for rubber deformation and the neighboring clearances. Fasteners should bear on the intended components without introducing sharp contact at a rubber edge. During service, inspect for a change in position, cracking or altered fit near the hottest contact area. Correct an unexpected heat source or damaged mounting surface rather than compensating with a tighter bush. The installed arrangement should preserve the required location and movement of the supported component.

Material options
Rubber compound options, customized alongside the profile and contact conditions.
Hardness selection
Solid rubber options: 30–90 Shore A. Check the support and retention surfaces, the room available for rubber deformation and the neighboring clearances.
Custom geometry
The chosen compound, hardness and dimensions should address the actual thermal and mechanical conditions together.
Fit evaluation
The installed arrangement should preserve the required location and movement of the supported component.
Color & OEM
Custom colors; part identification clear of mounting seats and loaded faces.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
