An EPDM pipe plug can close a pipe opening where the elastomer and the bore geometry suit the intended service. Custom dimensions and hardness allow the plug to be developed around the actual opening, including the portion that provides retention and the part used for handling.
Pipe size alone may not describe the internal surface accurately. Measure the usable bore, account for any lip or step, and establish how far the plug should enter. Surface deposits and damaged edges can prevent an otherwise suitable profile from seating evenly. The accessible end should also remain clear of surrounding equipment so that removal does not require pulling the rubber sideways.
Choose EPDM for the specific fluid and temperature conditions of the installation. A flexible pipe closure should only be used within the operating limits established for that assembly; its material name does not establish a pressure rating. During fitting, avoid forcing the plug across a sharp edge. Inspect the contact region whenever it is removed, especially if it has been compressed in the same position for an extended period.

Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
