Match the attachment and installation method
A rubber silicone O-ring must match the groove through both its inside diameter and its cross-section. This custom ring offering also includes Buna-N material options, allowing the compound to be selected for the application. Similar overall diameters do not make two rings interchangeable if their sections occupy different amounts of space.
Start with the mating parts and identify how the ring will be compressed. Groove depth, available width, and the assembled clearance determine the room for the rubber. Select the compound for the actual medium and temperature before comparing hardness and installation behavior.
During fitting, keep the ring free of twist and avoid stretching it over sharp features unnecessarily. Check that it remains in its seat as the mating component moves into position. Where several sizes are used in the same assembly, keep them separated during servicing so that close dimensions are not confused. Inspect removed rings for cuts and persistent flattening. Use a matching replacement rather than attempting to recover the original section by pulling or reshaping an old seal.

Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
