Product Overview

Large suction cups made from rubber for industrial vacuum use need their contact footprints and threaded-nut supports developed together. A broad cup can encounter surface variation across its rim, while a narrow or tilted attachment may apply force unevenly. The complete geometry determines how the face meets the work surface.

Custom dimensions, compound, hardness and color can match the system. Define thread engagement, mounting thickness and clearance for assembly tools. The hardware should secure the cup without pressing against a region intended to flex.

Evaluate representative surfaces and loading directions, including any turning effect from the attached structure. Inspect the full perimeter after fastening rather than only the most visible side. No general capacity follows from the cup being large or industrial.

For a shared mounting plate, evaluate whether its deflection changes the cup angles under load. A plate that is flat before operation may present the contacts differently afterward. The support stiffness and cup positions should be included in the system assessment so the rubber is not expected to correct an unintended alignment change.

During maintenance, check the nut connection and surface contact separately. A loose mounting can tilt an intact cup, while a damaged rim needs attention at the rubber interface. Keep the face clean and store spare cups without compressing their edges. If several cups share a support, compare their installed positions so one does not take contact earlier than the others.

Material options
Rubber compound options, customized alongside the profile and contact conditions.
Hardness selection
Solid rubber options: 30–90 Shore A. The support stiffness and cup positions should be included in the system assessment so the rubber is not expected to correct an unintended alignment change.
Custom geometry
Define thread engagement, mounting thickness and clearance for assembly tools.
Fit evaluation
Evaluate representative surfaces and loading directions, including any turning effect from the attached structure.
Color & OEM
Custom colors; OEM markings outside the suction contact face.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
