Match the attachment and installation method
Custom rubber mounts with M6 screw connections provide a nominal M6 attachment for a compliant support layout. The screw format should be matched to the receiving hardware, while the rubber body is developed around the support height and movement required by the equipment.
When several mounts connect one component, align their fixing points before tightening. Pulling a hole pattern into position through the rubber can leave the mounts carrying permanent distortion. The supported part should settle naturally into the intended layout. Check usable thread engagement after any brackets and washers are included, and ensure the screw does not bottom out before the connection is seated.
The selected rubber compound should suit the actual local conditions. M6 identifies the fastening size rather than a universal load capability. Evaluate the completed support under the intended weight and operating motion. During inspection, look for one mount leaning differently from the others. That difference may indicate an alignment issue or an external connection pulling on the component, which should be corrected alongside any replacement.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The screw format should be matched to the receiving hardware, while the rubber body is developed around the support height and movement required by the equipment. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a connection type, then compare body dimensions and metric threads. D, H and L are in millimeters; H excludes projecting studs. The M designation identifies the metric thread.
157 sizes with a male stud at each end. Compare body diameter D, body height H, thread size and projecting stud length L.
