Product Overview

An industrial threaded vacuum suction cup combines a suction contact profile with a mechanical attachment to the handling assembly. The thread and surrounding connection need to fit the intended mount without twisting the rubber body or preventing the lip from approaching the target correctly.

Define the actual thread configuration and available engagement as part of the custom design. Check the space around the connection, including hardware that might touch the cup as it deforms against the surface. Select the rubber or silicone formulation for the handled material and operating environment.

Evaluate the complete vacuum system and mounting under the required handling cycle. A heavy-duty description does not define a lifting capacity or compensate for a poorly aligned attachment. The target surface, vacuum conditions, movement and connection all influence the result.

During fitting, use the assembly's designated fastening method and inspect the cup orientation afterward. Keep the passage clear and the lip free of residue. During service, check for a loosening connection as well as wear at the contact edge. Correct a damaged thread or distorted mount before replacing the cup so the next part is not subjected to the same misalignment.

Material options
Custom silicone or rubber formulation; select the compound alongside the mating geometry.
Hardness selection
Silicone: 20–80 Shore A; solid rubber: 30–90 Shore A. Define the actual thread configuration and available engagement as part of the custom design.
Custom geometry
The thread and surrounding connection need to fit the intended mount without twisting the rubber body or preventing the lip from approaching the target correctly.
Fit evaluation
During fitting, use the assembly's designated fastening method and inspect the cup orientation afterward.
Color & OEM
Custom colors; OEM markings outside the suction contact face.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
