A flat natural rubber washer creates a flexible annular contact around a hole or fastener. Its inner diameter, outside diameter, and thickness define different aspects of the fit: clearance at the center, contact area around it, and the amount of material available to compress between the mating surfaces.
Select those dimensions together with the fastener head or adjoining hardware. A small hard contact can press deeply into the rubber without loading the full washer face, while a center opening that is too tight may distort during assembly. The mating surfaces should support the washer without leaving a sharp edge beneath its working area.
Natural rubber suitability depends on the environment, so assess the selected formulation against relevant fluids, heat, and outdoor exposure. During tightening, observe the washer rather than assuming additional force always improves the joint. Excessive squeezing can push material out of position. Where the washer is intended to seal, verify that function in the complete connection and inspect the contact area after disassembly for cuts, extrusion, or lasting uneven deformation.
The washer photos are structural and material references. ETOL's factory can produce non-standard silicone and rubber washers with the outline, opening and thickness suited to your fastener layout and contact footprint.
Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
