A small silicone wiring sleeve provides a flexible passage around a matching lead or wire group. The custom dimensions should accommodate the assembled wire profile while fitting the surrounding structure. Compact sleeves benefit from an installation sequence that protects their thin openings from damage.
Decide whether the sleeve goes onto the wire before its connector is attached. A small lead may fit comfortably through the bore even though its finished terminal is too large to pass without excessive stretch. Plan that sequence before the harness is completed rather than using the connector to force the rubber open.
Select the formulation and external shape for the actual location. During fitting, keep the sleeve aligned and avoid catching its inner wall on sharp terminal edges. Check the ends after the wire has been positioned and secured. If the sleeve includes a panel-retaining region, inspect that area separately from the bore. During servicing, release the route supports before pulling the wire through so the small sleeve is not used as the restraint for the entire lead.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The custom dimensions should accommodate the assembled wire profile while fitting the surrounding structure. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
