A clear silicone rubber gasket in washer form can make some placement details easier to see against a contrasting mating surface. Its transparency should be considered a visual characteristic of the finished silicone and section, while the bore, outside profile and thickness define the mechanical fit within the joint.
Develop the molded shape around the actual sealing land and any locating feature. Evaluate the sample under the lighting available during assembly, since the visible edge may be less obvious against a pale or reflective surface. Material selection should still follow the medium and conditions at the joint.
Place the washer centrally and inspect for a folded edge or trapped particle before closing the assembly. Do not rely only on looking through the body; examine the contact boundary directly where possible. During cleaning, avoid abrasive methods that score the silicone. If clarity changes with use, assess the surface condition and seating together so appearance is not used as the sole measure of whether the washer remains suitable for the joint.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. Material selection should still follow the medium and conditions at the joint. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
