A round rubber washer should have support beneath the full contact band used for sealing. A recess, fillet, or narrow shoulder can leave part of the washer unsupported even when its outer diameter appears appropriate. The silicone gasket configuration should follow the actual mating faces and the available compression in the completed joint.
Define the inner opening, outside diameter, and thickness together. Select the formulation for the medium, temperature, and movement involved. Keep the washer clear of passages and features that could cut or twist it during closure.
Place the part flat and centered before bringing the mating surfaces together. Inspect for material pushed into a gap or a displaced inner edge. Assess the complete connection under its intended conditions. During maintenance, compare uneven flattening with the support beneath that region before replacing the washer. Correcting a hardware feature can be necessary so a new part does not receive the same concentrated contact at the same location.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
