A rectangle gasket washer provides a custom rubber interface for a rectangular seating area. Its straight runs and corners need to align with the mating faces so the rubber is supported where compression is applied. The inner opening should also remain clear of the passage or component it surrounds.
Check the corner shape before installation. A gasket can match the overall length and width yet sit poorly if its corner radius differs from the joint. Position the part without pulling one side to reach a fastening point. Cut or molded construction and the selected rubber should suit the required geometry and environment. As the joint closes, watch for a side being dragged inward or pushed beyond the supporting edge. During later disassembly, inspect the corners separately from the straight sections, since local folds can be hidden while the joint is assembled. Replace a damaged gasket after clearing the mating faces, and maintain the intended thickness rather than stacking thin pieces to recreate an approximate fit.

Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
