Custom rubber flat gaskets for machine joints should be developed around the mating outline and the features that locate them during assembly. NBR and FKM material versions need selection according to the actual medium and temperature. The gasket should sit on its intended contact path before the cover or adjoining part is fastened.
Check how the part remains positioned during closing. A large unsupported area or narrow connecting section can move as the cover approaches. Verify alignment at openings and corners instead of assuming that fastening will pull the gasket into the correct place.
The joint should compress the working region without pushing rubber into adjacent passages. Clean the mating faces before fitting and inspect the gasket for a fold while access is still available. On service removal, look for displaced sections and local contact marks that reveal uneven support. Replace damage with the correct contour and thickness. A thicker flat gasket should not be used as a general remedy for a cover that is misaligned or has an obstructed seat.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
