A neoprene oval wire groove seal provides a custom rubber interface at an elongated electrical cable opening. The groove should follow the panel shape and wall thickness, while the internal passage accommodates the routed wires. Matching the visible outer oval alone does not establish the retained fit.
Check the panel edge along both straight regions and curved ends. Local changes in wall thickness or an irregular cut can keep the groove from seating evenly. Custom dimensions and material choices allow the part to suit the opening, but rough edges should still be corrected before installation. Position the wires without bunching them against one end of the oval. If sealing is required, assess the cable contact and the panel perimeter together in the finished arrangement. During later wiring changes, inspect the part for a rolled lip hidden beneath the bundle. A neoprene replacement should preserve the intended compound and profile instead of relying on a similar black rubber appearance to establish equivalence.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The groove should follow the panel shape and wall thickness, while the internal passage accommodates the routed wires. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
