Product Overview

Nitrile rubber bellows can form a flexible dust cover around a moving component. Their folded wall accommodates a defined change in length while enclosing the area between the end attachments. Dust control depends on where the cover sits and how its edges meet the neighboring parts, not only on the presence of a corrugated tube.

Examine the places where debris naturally gathers in the equipment. Folds positioned beneath a source of loose particles may collect material that later rubs against the wall during movement. Leave access for cleaning and avoid placing a bracket so close that it traps dirt against the bellows.

Both end connections should remain seated throughout the operating travel. Check the smallest and largest installed positions, then observe whether the cover clears the moving component inside. Nitrile selection should be reviewed against any lubricant or cleaning agent present at that location.

ETOL can customize the profile and dimensions to the surrounding mechanism. During maintenance, clean the fold valleys with a material-compatible method and inspect for abrasion hidden between adjacent folds. Do not push packed debris deeper into the cover while cleaning. A part that looks intact from one side should still be checked where the moving wall passes nearest to the mechanism.

Material options
NBR compound options, customized alongside the profile and contact conditions.
Hardness selection
Solid rubber options: 30–90 Shore A. Nitrile rubber bellows can form a flexible dust cover around a moving component.
Custom geometry
ETOL can customize the profile and dimensions to the surrounding mechanism.
Fit evaluation
Check the smallest and largest installed positions, then observe whether the cover clears the moving component inside.
Color & OEM
Custom colors; identification clear of folds and end connections.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
