A thick Nitrile Rubber Washer provides a substantial rubber layer between mating surfaces, but its useful thickness is the condition reached in the intended assembly. The free height, contact area and applied compression need to be considered together.
ETOL can customize dimensions, material, hardness and color. Match the center opening to the locating feature and the outer footprint to the supporting face. A large washer placed over a narrow contact ring may compress differently from one supported across its whole surface.
Set the washer flat before securing the assembly and watch for material being pushed sideways into an unintended gap. Do not add fastening force merely to achieve a desired external height if the rubber has already reached its designed compression. Evaluate the complete arrangement for its required sealing or cushioning function. During disassembly, release the load before moving the washer and inspect both faces. A persistent indentation can reveal the actual contact pattern, helping identify whether the mating surfaces or selected footprint need adjustment before replacement.

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
