Silicone isolation washers can place a compliant separating layer between adjoining components, while an NBR washer seal should be selected for its specific sealing joint. Define the intended duty before choosing the material and section. Mechanical separation, electrical insulation, and water sealing require different complete assembly assessments and should not be inferred from a washer's appearance.
Check the inner diameter, outer support area, and installed thickness. Fasteners or locating shoulders should not create an unintended contact route around the rubber where separation is needed. For a seal, the faces must apply the intended compression around a continuous contact path.
Install flat on clean surfaces and bring the joint together evenly. Keep rotating hardware from twisting the washer out of position. During maintenance, look for cut edges, embedded particles, and regions pushed into an unsupported gap. Preserve the selected compound and geometry during replacement rather than adding extra washers to compensate for a closing condition that needs correction in the surrounding assembly.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
