A Buna-N rubber thick washer provides a compliant ring for a defined contact or sealing arrangement. Buna-N identifies an NBR material family, but the selected formulation must still suit the actual oil and operating conditions. An oil-proof label is not a universal specification for every lubricant or additive.
The thick section affects how the assembly closes and how much the rubber can deform. Check the inner and outer diameters with the available supporting faces, then define the intended installed compression. Tightening harder is not a substitute for choosing the correct geometry.
Evaluate any sealing requirement in the completed joint, including the relevant fluid and temperature. During fitting, keep the washer aligned so its bore is not dragged against a sharp thread. Inspect used parts for swelling, cuts and uneven flattening. If exposure has changed since the original installation, reconsider the compound before fitting another washer with the same appearance but without confirming its suitability for the current service.

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
