Product Overview

A rubber pipe gasket belongs to a particular joint configuration. Pipe diameter gives a starting dimension, but the contact face, recess and method of fastening determine the gasket outline and section that the joint needs. Two connections using the same pipe size can require different sealing parts.

Custom production allows the silicone or other selected rubber to follow that geometry. Identify the medium and service conditions before settling on the compound, then evaluate the gasket with the actual mating components. Include any feature that locates the seal or limits compression as the joint closes.

Before replacement, inspect the joint after the equipment has been isolated through its normal service procedure. Remove remnants of the old gasket without scoring the seating face. Place the new part so it follows the designed path and remains clear of the pipe opening. If the mating parts cannot align correctly, address that condition before fastening; pulling misaligned pipework together can change the contact that the gasket was designed to make.

Material options
Silicone. Custom formulation and color for the intended contact conditions.
Hardness selection
Silicone: 20–80 Shore A. Include any feature that locates the seal or limits compression as the joint closes.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
