A Rubber Pipe Flange Gasket forms a compliant sealing layer between matching flange faces. Its central opening should align with the pipe passage, while the outer area follows the supported sealing surface. Positioning matters: a gasket shifted inward can obstruct the opening, and an unsupported outer section may move as the flanges are secured.
Choose the material for the conveyed medium and operating temperature, including startup, shutdown and cleaning conditions where relevant. Heat resistance is specific to the selected compound and application; it should not be inferred from the flange shape. Custom cutting or molding can adapt the outline to the required joint.
Prepare the faces according to the equipment's service procedure and check them for damage. Place the gasket without folding it, align the joint, and use the specified fastening sequence. Do not use the gasket to compensate for visibly misaligned pipework. After assembly, perform the checks required for the piping system before service. A leak should prompt examination of alignment, face condition and compression as well as the rubber itself.

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
