Round rubber bands can provide an elastic loop around a component, while a silicone washer occupies a compressed face contact. Those roles require different dimensions and should be defined before selecting a colored rubber version. A loop's working circumference matters alongside its relaxed size, whereas a washer needs supported inner and outer face dimensions.
For a band, include the temporary stretch required during installation and the shape of corners it passes over. For a washer, check the closing gap and contact width. Select the formulation for the actual temperature, substances, and handling conditions.
Fit the selected part without twist and keep sharp edges away from the rubber. Assess any load or sealing requirement within the complete arrangement appropriate to that role. During care, inspect bands for permanent stretch and washers for displaced or uneven compression. Preserve the intended format during replacement rather than using a similar looking ring to perform a different job for which its contact geometry was not selected.

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
