A rubber 3M adhesive foot bumper provides a compliant contact point with an adhesive mounting surface. It suits designs that need a foot or bumper without a separate screw through the rubber. Custom size, profile, color and hardness allow the contact face and mounting footprint to be developed together.
The adhesive grade must suit the material beneath it, including any paint, coating or texture. A larger rubber head does not automatically create a larger bond: the effective attachment area is the adhesive footprint actually touching the base. Avoid placing that footprint across a recessed label, molded step or joint where part of it would remain unsupported.
Clean and dry the mounting area using a method compatible with the base. Handle the liner and rubber edges without touching the exposed adhesive, then press evenly across the bond area. Allow the selected adhesive its specified time before putting the foot into service. Sliding the supported item can apply sideways force to the attachment, particularly if the foot projects well below the housing.
During layout, check that neighboring feet share contact on the intended surface. A foot installed over a high spot may carry more of the contact while another remains clear. Replacing a detached bumper includes removing old adhesive and inspecting the base, so the new part bonds to the intended substrate.

Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
