Product Overview
Soft rubber feet with adhesive backing create contact points beneath a base or act as bumpers where parts meet. The black rubber form can be customized in structure, dimensions, material, hardness and color, allowing the footprint to follow the available mounting area.
Place the feet on sound, flat locations rather than bridging a seam or raised feature. For a base supported by several feet, their positions and heights should let them share contact as intended. A foot applied over a small projection can sit higher than the others and introduce rocking.
Prepare the bonding areas before removing the backing, keeping fingerprints and dust away from the adhesive face. Once applied, observe the selected adhesive's bonding requirements before putting the feet into service. Check the underside after the item has been positioned: the pads should remain flat with no edge catching on the supporting surface. If a bumper moves, inspect the bond and contact direction instead of pressing it back repeatedly onto a contaminated area. Replace a loose pad with a properly fitted fresh part.
Leave enough clearance for the item to be picked up without fingernails repeatedly catching the feet. On a compact base, that small handling detail can influence where the pads are best placed.
