Product Overview

Rubber bellows vacuum suction cups use a folded body between the mounting area and the contact lip. That geometry allows movement along the cup axis as the cup meets a surface, making the available bellows travel an important part of the pickup arrangement. Custom dimensions can match the connection, contact area, and installed height of the equipment.

The bellows should approach the workpiece with room to compress in the intended direction. Starting with the folds already fully closed leaves little useful movement, while stretching the body to reach the surface can put tension on the sealing lip. The mounting position and machine stroke need to work together rather than relying on the rubber to correct a large alignment error.

Surface condition remains central to suction. The entire rim needs suitable contact, away from openings, seams, and sharp edges. Keep the lip clean and check that the vacuum connection is compatible with the selected cup. Where a heated workpiece is involved, select the exact silicone compound around the actual contact temperature and exposure duration.

Evaluate grip and release through the complete operating cycle. Side loading can distort the folds differently from axial compression, and cup diameter alone does not define a safe handling load. Periodic inspection should include both the rim and the roots of the bellows, where repeated flexing may reveal damage.

Material options
Custom silicone compound; formulation and geometry developed together.
Hardness selection
Silicone options: 20–80 Shore A. Side loading can distort the folds differently from axial compression, and cup diameter alone does not define a safe handling load.
Custom geometry
Custom dimensions can match the connection, contact area, and installed height of the equipment.
Fit evaluation
The entire rim needs suitable contact, away from openings, seams, and sharp edges.
Color & OEM
Custom colors; OEM markings outside the suction contact face.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
