Rubber bumper pads provide a flexible contact surface with adhesive mounting for a selected location. A 3M-backed silicone version can be customized in structure, size, hardness and color. The pad should be positioned so normal contact presses onto its face instead of catching an exposed edge.
Check the intended location before removing the liner. Near an enclosure edge, leave enough support beneath the whole backing and sufficient clearance for nearby openings or fasteners. A pad overhanging the substrate can begin to lift when the item is handled.
Select the adhesive grade for the mounting material, finish and expected exposure. Prepare the surface and apply the backing under the conditions appropriate to that adhesive, keeping the rubber in its relaxed shape. Once positioned, inspect the perimeter for an unsupported section. During use, remove grit from the contact face and check that the mating component still lands on the pad. Replace a worn or lifting part after removing old adhesive residue; stacking another pad above it changes the contact height and may create further edge loading.

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
