Product Overview

Custom rubber cane tips fit at the end of a walking-stick shaft and provide its intended contact with the ground. Retention on the shaft is a key selection point: the tip needs the correct socket profile and seating depth so it remains part of the assembly when the stick is lifted and placed again.

Measure the finished shaft end and account for any taper or locating feature. ETOL provides custom sizes, rubber materials, hardness, color and logo options. Choose those details as part of the walking-stick design, including the shape of the ground-contacting base, rather than treating similar-looking tips as automatically interchangeable.

Remove residue from the shaft before fitting and inspect its end for anything that could cut the rubber internally. After assembly, check that the tip has reached the intended seat and has not split at the opening. Evaluate the complete stick with its correct replacement component before relying on it for support.

Routine inspection should include the underside and the socket entrance. A worn-through base, trapped stone or loosened fit calls for attention before further use. Keep the contact face clean and replace a damaged tip; simply pushing it farther onto the shaft will not restore rubber that has torn or lost its shape.

Material options
Custom rubber compound and color, selected for the contact conditions and required geometry.
Hardness range
30–90 Shore A for rubber. Compare firmness under load at the intended contact face. After assembly, check that the tip has reached the intended seat and has not split at the opening.

Design check

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
