Silicone end caps for connector protection need an internal profile that fits the intended retaining surface without pressing on sensitive contact features. Nearby latches, cable exits, and shoulders can limit how the cap approaches and how deeply it seats, so the connector's maximum outline is only a starting point.
Check the selected cap against the actual connector configuration. Leave access for removal without levering against pins or a thin housing edge. If the cap is intended to remain attached during storage or handling, assess the forces that could displace it rather than judging retention from one straight pull alone.
Keep the cap interior clean before fitting and inspect the perimeter for incomplete engagement. Any required dust or water protection belongs to the complete fitted interface and its exposure conditions. During reuse, examine the hidden contact area for cuts and embedded particles. A cap that has become loose or distorted should be corrected before its presence is relied on to protect the connector in routine handling.

ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Compare inside diameter A with the outside of the part being covered. Check inside depth C and overall dimensions B and D for available clearance. These RSE references show a round cap with one closed end.
43 closed-end cap sizes. A is the inside diameter and C is the usable internal depth; B and D describe the outside envelope.

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
