Rubber Elastomer Washers provide a flexible annular layer between mating parts. The bore needs clearance around the passing component, while the outer edge should remain supported by the intended seating face. Neoprene and other custom rubber choices can be selected for the joint environment.
Check the size of the clamping face relative to the washer. A narrow fastener head can concentrate pressure near the middle while leaving a broad outer region unsupported. Conversely, a bore that is too tight can gather rubber against the passing component before the faces meet. Match the section and dimensions to the actual joint rather than selecting only by outside diameter. Fit the washer flat on a clean surface, and inspect after closure for an edge pushed out of place. During disassembly, look for a cut or strongly uneven flattened region. Correct the supporting geometry before replacing the washer, so a new elastomer part does not merely repeat the same distortion under the same hardware.

Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
