Rubber Extruded Gaskets use a continuous profile that is selected around the mating channel or contact surface. When that profile is fitted along a sealing path, the length and end arrangement matter as well as the cross section. Pulling the rubber to make it reach can leave a joint that changes position after the material relaxes.
Compare the profile with the actual groove or flange before preparing the final length. Check how the section behaves at bends and whether the intended corner can be followed without folding or lifting. Where ends meet, the joining method belongs in the seal design rather than being treated as an incidental trim detail.
For food-related equipment, choose the formulation for the specific contact and cleaning conditions. Different rubber materials are available for different exposures, and the profile shape alone does not establish material suitability.
Fit the length in a relaxed state and inspect its seating along the full path. Avoid leaving an extra loop to absorb excess material. During maintenance, pay attention to the ends and bends, where changes in fit can be easier to miss than along a straight, exposed section.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
